The first National conference was held in Benin City in 1980. At that time Benin province was under Lagos Province. Since the creation of present Benin City Province has hosted another National conference in 2003 at the University of Benin Sports Complex the venue of the first National Conference. On 18 — 21 April 1996 we had the first Provincial Conference at Agbor Obi, and Leaders’ workshop at Patani. The second was in Benin City in 1999, and the third was in Sapele in 2003 and the fourth in Auchi 2005. The conference at Auchi recorded the highest population of over 6,000 participants with priests in attendance. In addition to conferences, we have held Leaders’ Retreats, Seminars and Workshops for all Ministries. ACTIVITIES FOR 2006 In view of the National Conference for 2006, the Province decided to leave off major activities to enable members concentrate on the preparation for the National Conference in November, 2006 at National Service Center Ubulu Uku. Meetings: - PST 5 May, 2006 at CCRN Center Benin City at 1 0,00am. PST 12 August, 2006 at St. Vincent Pro Cathedral Auchi at 10 am. PST 27 October, 2006 at National Service Center Ubulu-Uku at 5 pm.
