ABOUT THE NATIONAL SERVICE CENTRE
The National Service Centre, over the years, has been a beehive of Renewal activities and programmes. Dioceses, Provinces, and Ministries hold their Leadership seminars, meetings and workshops at the Centre under development. The NST organizes annual retreat for NST members at the beginning of each year and this also takes place at this centre. THE PHYSICAL STRUCTUREPresently, the National Service Centre is undergoing a radical development. The most outstanding is the ongoing work on the Stadium Complex. Other structures includes two hostel buidings, borehole, underground and overhead tanks, powerful generators, marian grotto, visat Installation, offices (for the Director of the Centre and the Web Administrator), publication office, meeting hall, and other peripherals. Furthermore, a truck and a bus was also purchased to enhance mobility and facilitate development at the centre.
THE STADIUM COMPLEXThe Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria is currently making a strong effort towards the building of a stadium complex which would be large enough to accomodate at least 20,000 persons, and also have other built-in structures like halls, meeting/conference rooms, toilets, and hostels. As at the moment, the first part of the stadium is already raised beyond the ground level and fund is being sought to enhance the spend of the ongoing work.
LAND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEEThis is a committee set up by NEC (National Executive Council) to oversee the development of the National Service Centre. Presently, this committee is under the leadership of Bro. Lawson Idehen.
