There
is a paradox.
We
must accept what is, as it is, in the form it manifests, before we can
change it.

the light bulb can exist we must face the dark.
Spirituality

NATIONAL
SERVICE CENTRE/STRUCTURE The
National Service Center (NSC), is the Administrative and operational
nerve center of Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria. It serves
as focal point of unity in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria,
as well as a point of contact with Catholic Charismatic Renewal
Worldwide. (a)
The Chief Executive Officer of the center is the Executive Director
appointed by the National ExecutiveCouncil.
(b) The NSC shall also have other supporting Staff responsible to
the Executive Director.
(c) In the office of the Executive Director, there shall be the
following departments.

Finance
Maintenance
Publication

FUNCTIONS
OF NATIONAL SERVICE CENTRE
The
NSC is the administrative and operational nerve Centre of the Catholic
Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria.
With the Co-coordinator of the National Service Centre as the
Chief Executive of the Centre, the NSC shall render all necessary
charismatic Services to the Renewal in Nigeria whenever such
services are needed provided that the NSC shall act in functions
under the authority and direction of N.E.C
and with due respect for the pastoral jurisdiction of the Bishops
and the Parish Priests, understanding however that it has no
authority or jurisdiction of its own.
To
serve as a visible focal point of unity in the Renewal in Nigeria.
To
serve as a point of contact between Catholic Charismatic Renewal
and CCR worldwide, especially the ICCRS
in Rome.
To
maintain regular contact and unity with Catholic Bishops in
Nigeria through the National Liaison Officer, and in conjunction
with the NEC to serve as spokesman for the Renewal.
To
maintain regular correspondence with all Provincial and Diocesan
Service Teams Office in the country, solving their problems
as best as it can.
To visit each Province and Diocese whenever necessary for meetings
with Chairmen and other Leaders at the invitation of the Service
Team.
To ensure quarterly publication of Renewal Newsletter or Magazine
which shall be under the editorial supervision of a “National
Editor” not necessarily a staff of the NSC who shall be
appointed by the N.E.C.
To serve as a Centre for the acquisition and distribution of
suitable Charismatic literature and tapes, with strong emphasis
on clearly Catholic Charismatic materials.
To serve as a Centre for general information regarding Catholic
Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria, and in this regard be in position
to compile a Directory of the Catholic charismatic Prayer Groups
in Nigeria.
To
communicate through Reports constantly with NST
on development within the Centre and the above matters.
To represent the Renewal in matters having to do with both secular
and religious media in Nigeria when necessary.
