SUMMARY OF THE CONFERENCE (Download Pictures and Papers Below)

The Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria (CCRN) had her National conference at the National Service Centre Ubulu-Uku, Delta State, Nigeria. It was a significant moment in the history of CCRN. In a cool environment and a remote settlement in Ubulu-Uku, people gathers in hundreds, thousands, millions and in a number innumerable to count, men, women, children, old and young gathered to encounter the lord and to experience spiritual advancement in their service within the renewal.

The conference ground was stratified and structure in a systematic manner: The section for selling of food, drinks and other eatable items, the section for the distribution of chairs, etc. There are two hostels at the National Service Centre; the first hostel was reserved for N.S.C /N.S.T/ N.C.C.P executives, while the second hostel was reserved for the priests and religious at the Conference. A gigantic generator was provided for the constant supply of electricity, and a bore-hole was dug for the provision of water for the participants. Toilets were built around the Conference arena, while other provisions were made available for the participants. On the conference ground, a podium was beautified and used as the Alter for the celebration of Holy Eucharist. Also, four pavilion and numerous other canopies where mounted to provide shade for the participants.

During the conference, different ministries of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal were given space to exercise their ministries: The stewards, led by Br. Donatus Mmeregini, gorgeously dress in white and black, made their relentless efforts to maintain order and to co-ordinate the movement of people at the Conference Ground. The Praise and Worship ministry, led by Br. Emeka Uche took their position close to the podium where they thrill the crowd with their melodious voice in praise and adoration of our living God.

The intercessors (Prayer warriors) made a continual effort to ensure that the door of heaven is wild open for the prayer of God’s people at this remarkable conference. They fasted, prayed and stayed continually in the present of God before his tabernacle. Several other ministries like the Teaching Ministry, Evangelical Ministry, Sisters ministry, Healing and Deliverance ministry, and several others contributed their quota to ensure the success of this conference.

At the conference ground, the priests and religions were seated at the podium, surrounded by The Core Leaders, on the national level, of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria.
