CCRN SITE

The development of the land for the National Service Centre is the priority project of CCRN. Phase ONE which is the bulldozing of land was carried out in March 2004. Out of the land area of 20.124 hectares, the Land Development Committee is committed to clear 11 hectares as Conference Ground to accommodate at least basic structures like the PODIUM, Halls for participants with sitting arrangement, conveniences like toilet and bathrooms, car park, Vendors Stand, Boreholes etc for now.

PODIUM

Podium erection has commenced. The Architectural design for the podium duly approved by the NST is already on ground to DPC level. The Podium will accommodate Seminar Room, office, Sacristy, conveniences and elevated stage for altar to take 100 seats. Further development on the land was halted owing to paucity of fund.

SEED SOWING

In order to raise fund for the continuation of the land development project and to ensure that the forthcoming national conference is held at the new site in 2006, the NST decided on nationwide seed-sowing to raise fund from all the provinces.
Machinery to organize a national seed-sowing as a Grand Finale from the Provinces was also set in motion. While all the provinces are expected to raise N300 million naira, he Grand Finale is expected to raise N200 million naira.

Provincial/Diocesan Conferences are presently going on nation-wide.
